2. info : I just got this high speed twin flywheel Stirling Engine and I had to get it running straight away. As with my other engine, it's lubricated with an ordinary 'lead' pencil and it run's great. The burner is running on methylated spirits. Not sure of the RPM but I have an optical tacho on order so I can check it. It does seem to be doing a lot of rev's. It vibrates around quite a lot, but the rev's pick up noticably when it's held nice and steady. Seems to have a bit of power, so I've just got to work out what to hook it up to.

46. noid919 : It came with a spare glass cylinder and the seals to replace it, but I haven't had to replace it yet. All it needs to run is some lubrication with a pencil scratched on the rods, and some methylated spirits (alcohol) in the burner for fuel. This engine has been super reliable, especially for the price. Enjoy!
