If the collapsing magnetic field can generate up to 90 volts at the collector when the transistor turns off - why do you not need a current limiting resistor in the LED to ground portion of the circuit? Hein Joubert (Hein-ZA) : Hi there, I am having problems with a 4.2A, 24Vdc switch mode power supply cutting out (over current protection) when i switch on a 2A rated current DC motor with a relay. I need to limit the inrush current which is specified to be 3 times the rated current of the dc motor, to prevent the power supply from cutting out. Any suggestions? (replacing the relay board with a speed controller or getting a beefier power supply is not an option) Please help!! anyone!? Great videos, keep them coming.
