  2. info : In the comments one of my fans''Testas 3339" want to build the great joule thief circuit so i made it.Also I know that for someone is hard to get the parts so I found way that from old cfl bulb you can salvage the parts and make simple joule thief. The parts you need to salvage: transitor 13001 or 2n3904,1k ohm resistor,white led,ferrite ring and little transformer for copper wire.   17. Imat Roll : Yeah. Steampunk. But I think you could improve on that with a bit of artistic ability. Use copper and black colored paints good for plastics on the battery housing. Add some fake gears to the outside and place the components in easy to see while in use areas of the battery holder. Use copper tubing for conduit for the wiring to the components. Add a steampunk decorated lid and.......voila! A real good looking steampunk Joule Thief Torch. I wish I could help you achieve that look. But, alas, I am quite far away.
